PROPRIETARY FIBRE-OPTIC ILLUMINATION The end of the fiber optic light pipe in the FireDot reticle is cut and polished to deliver the brightest dot in the field and offers true daylight capable illumination with eight different intensity settings (see above). You get better target definition in all conditions and see only what youre aiming at. Our Motion Sensor Technology (MST) conserves battery life with automatic on/off function. QUANTUM OPTICAL SYSTEM A Leupold exclusive different lens coatings are specified based on the lens index of refraction placement and function. Each coating is then layered to maximise light transmission for unparalleled brightness and resolution across the entire visual field. All exterior lens surfaces are treated with DiamondCoat for optimiSed light management and unparalleled scratch resistance. Lens edges are blackened to reduce unwanted glare and light diffusion. ONE-TURN EXTENDED RANGE FOCUS The one-turn non-locking eyepiece accommodates a wider spectrum of visual acuity even in diminishing light. Nearsighted farsighted or anywhere in between adjusting the focus of the VX-R is smooth fast and precise. An Alumina rubber eyepiece guard is included with every VX-R.
